Summer Vibes, Snowflakes & Black Tower Wine
Summer Vibes, Snowflakes & Black Tower Wine
New work at Canfas Gallery, Cardigan from July 5th
I'm thrilled to announce that two of my latest paintings will be on show at Canfas Gallery in Cardigan as part of their Summer Show, opening Saturday 5th July. If you’re in the area (or fancy a road trip with some arty detours and maybe a cheeky half pint), come and have a look!
Both pieces are close to my heart and, in true Natalie Chapman style, they're bold, cheeky, and pack a bit of a punch !
'God Save The Teens'
Let’s talk about snowflakes. Not the Christmas kind—the insult kind.
This piece is my middle finger (politely painted, of course) to the bizarre culture war that's painted kindness and empathy as weakness. God Save The Teens reclaims the idea of sensitivity, showing it as strength, resistance, and something the world desperately needs more of.
Because if being a “snowflake” means having emotional intelligence, then I’m all in, it’s about the next generation navigating this fire of a world with humour, courage, and killer eyeliner.
You can see more pieces like this one on my Gallery Page.
'Milk, Bills and Boss Moves'
Now for a trip down memory lane. This one’s dedicated to my best mate—fellow young single mum and co-survivor of the absolute chaos that was our early twenties.
We shared everything: nappies, pasta bake, childcare, dreams, breakdowns—and terrible wine. Anyone remember Black Tower? Yeah, that elegant little bottle of regret.
Every week we went to our local young parents group where no one judged you . It was messy, magical, and honestly some of the most authentic time of my life. This painting is for that era—our friendship, our hustle, and the quiet boss moves we pulled every day just by surviving it all.
This one will be hanging at Canfas Gallery .
Come See It!
So if you’re in Cardigan this summer, pop into Canfas and say hi to my art (and maybe tag me in a selfie with it if you're feeling generous). The exhibition starts Saturday 5th July and will be on throughout the summer.
Thanks for the support, always. Being able to tell these stories through my art means the world—and showing them in a gorgeous space like Canfas is just the icing on the slightly cracked, joyfully chaotic cake.
Much love,
Natalie x
